Biography:
Jacob Kowalski is a No-Maj (American term for Muggle) baker who becomes entangled in the wizarding world in the film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016).
A World War I veteran and aspiring baker, Jacob is initially struggling to obtain a loan to open his own bakery. He inadvertently crosses paths with Newt Scamander, a British wizard, and his suitcase full of magical creatures.
Through his adventures with Newt, Tina, and Queenie, Jacob witnesses firsthand the wonders and dangers of magic. He proves to be a kind, courageous, and resourceful ally, despite his lack of magical abilities.
Although his memories are erased at the end of the first film, he seems to recall parts of his adventure, and is later reunited with his friends and finds success in his baking.
